WHAT ISTANBUL CIRCLE IS/NOT?
ISTANBUL CIRCLE TURKISH GUIDE OFFICE is a registered brand in Turkiye, on tour crafting, guiding, and interpreting services addressing to those who are planning to come here and want to know cultural texture of the city.

ISTANBUL CIRCLE is not a travel agent, however, my inner circle members have a bunch of them which agency services can be given through.

WHY CHOOSE ISTANBUL CIRCLE?
ISTANBUL CIRCLE makes you an inner circle visitor by sharing great stories from past. That means you have your own, historian private guide. ISTANBUL CIRCLE can be customized to suit your needs. All tours begin at your old town hotel or other mutually agreed upon location. Your guide comes to you. Let me offer an analogy: engaging with ISTANBUL CIRCLE is like entering a restaurant with a single table. We cater exclusively to you and, if applicable, up to seven (maybe more) accompanying guests.

HOW CAN I BOOK A TOUR AND WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?
I offer tours 7 days a week and the timing for custom tours is your choice. Preset tours may have set times to ensure access to included sites. Upon your decision, 20% of total fee shall be send via banking to the IBAN which will be shared with you privately. Rest of the fee can be paid before tour starts.

If you need to cancel and do so within 48 hours before your scheduled tour, ISTANBUL CIRCLE is able to give you an 85% refund of what you paid, leaving 15% for our processing costs.

HOW SHOULD I PREPARE FOR THE TOUR?
All tours are on foot and rely on public transportation and the cost of public transport is covered. However, entrance fees, taxi fares, food, drinks, and tips are the responsibility of the clients. Wear comfortable shoes and season-appropriate clothing. Please be aware of visiting policy of pray halls.

WHAT HAPPENS IN THE EVENT OF BAD WEATHER?
Tours take place in rain or shine but guides often make alterations to accommodate for weather conditions, visiting more indoor spaces in foul weather, stopping for a short break to warm up in a café if the group wishes, etc.

SHALL WE CARRY OUR PASSPORT WITH US?
Carrying your passport is recommended since there might be potential discounts or access to the Grand Bazaar’s rooftop.

HOW DOES TIPPING WORK?
Tipping is not obligatory but is appreciated. ISTANBUL CIRCLE members often tip from 10-25% of the tour’s price depending on their sense of enjoyment and their own customs.

LIABILITY WAIVER

This form and the associated Terms and Conditions are important legal documents. They explain the risks you assume on your tour/experience with ISTANBUL CIRCLE (the “Company”). It is critical that you read and understand them completely.

Waiver, Informed Consent, and Covenant Not to Sue

I, the purchaser, have purchased a tour/experience through ISTANBUL CIRCLE. I do here and forever release and discharge and hereby hold harmless the Company and its respective agents, heirs, assigns, contractors, and employees from any and all claims, demands, damages, rights of action or causes of action, present or future, arising out of or connected with my participation in this or any program including any injuries, illness, death or permanent disability resulting therefrom. This Waiver and Release of Liability includes, without limitation, injuries which may occur as a result of (1) my own actions, health, or physical stamina, (2) the negligence of other participants or third parties encountered on the tour,(3) negligent guidance on the part of the Company or its Staff, or (4) as a result of war, civil unrest or epidemic.

I further agree that if I violate this agreement and bring suit against any parties named herein, I will be responsible for attorneyʼs fees and any costs incurred by that person in defending such action.

Assumption of Risk

I, the purchaser, understand that this experience requires the ability to walk long distances, take the subway, and otherwise navigate the streets and transit systems of Istanbul Metropolitan City. I am aware of the inherent dangers and risks of this experience, including: physical exertion for which I may not be prepared, weather conditions subject to sudden and unexpected change, and the actions of third parties outside of the Companyʼs control. I declare that I am fully physically, mentally and emotionally fit for and capable of participation in this experience, and I accept all the inherent risks of the experience.

I agree at all times during the tour, to abide by and comply with any additional instructions given by my tour guide or any other Staff and I accept that non-compliance may result in death, injury, illness, or permanent disability. I understand that non-compliance may result in my removal from the tour.

I am aware that images or recordings may be taken during the course of the tour/experience, and I hereby grant the Company permission to use my photographic, video, or digital likeness for promotional, educational, and/or commercial purposes, without payment or any other consideration.

BY MAKING THIS PURCHASE, I ACKNOWLEDGE THAT I HAVE READ AND UNDERSTOOD ALL OF THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THIS TOUR AND THIS WAIVER AND THAT I AM VOLUNTARILY GIVING UP SUBSTANTIAL LEGAL RIGHTS, INCLUDING THE RIGHT TO SUE THE COMPANY.
